You are defiantly not a techie, do you realize what happens to a business when a computer crashes or and ipod dies or a email server fails its backup right before a power surge? Or how about how that new digital chip technology for discover card is so easily hacked that people can loose money just by walking by a hacker. Rfid chips were a stupid idea to use in money handling. As for the dollar: yes it technically costs more to print a dollar then a dollar is worth. That is because a dollar is technically not even worth a penny on the gold standard these days.

A problem that occurred by the way because we switched from doing transactions in gold to using paper notes because they were more secure. Eventually leading to the money laundering standard that banks use today. It all started with gold. So yes lets just put all are money on credit chips. No loss of security their either. Banks also never get hacked for money on line. Neither did PlayStation, or Ebay.

Get your head out of the clouds. More means for doing things does not mean we have less reasons to keep doing them the old way too.

its funny to compare the intelligent reasoning and ideas in this article with the dumb comments from those who have a 4-letter-word maximum capacity for their vocabulary. yes, reading would be much easier for you if you could understand larger words

This inspires me to write a Cyberpunk story. Crackers, and cyber-terrorist, or even Server Farms and satillite saboteurs.

More technology-based thing will always leads to more cyber-criminals. I like that Scantron 9000... organ cloning anyone?
